About Virtual Assistant – Debbie Buxton and Equipment Used

About Me -- Debbie Buxton

InfoWord Services has been in operation since October of 1997 providing virtual assistance to a variety of business professionals and entrepreneurs -- including coaches, a construction firm, print shops, and other home-based businesses. It is owned and operated by me, Debbie Buxton. I have over 20 years of professional office and field experience, including holding positions as a secretary, electronics mechanic, engineering technician, and project team lead. I have a range of experience from equipment maintenance and acquisition to financial accounting and project management. I specialize in desktop publishing -- including prepress and 4-color process printing, office administration -- including correspondence and presentations, and web site design and development. If you would like to see some of the sites I have developed please click here.

I hold an Associates of Technical Arts in Electronics. I have and continue to attend a variety of professional courses and seminars including Essentials of Printing and Prepress, MS Access, MS Excel, Financial Planning, Practical Project Engineering, and Design and Set-up of a Help Desk. I am proficient in a variety of office and graphic software programs including the MS Office Suite, Quicken/Quickbooks, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I type 100+ wpm.

I am highly motivated, accurate, thorough, and precise in my attention to details. I have excellent analytical and organizational skills. I am very competent in completing multi-faceted tasks within time constraints. I am skilled in interpersonal relationships and often praised for a can-do attitude. Plus I just plain like working with a variety of people and learning new things.

I have the ability to read/open most any type of document or graphic. Graphic files come in a variety of formats, I ask that Windows graphic files be either in .bmp, .eps, or .tif format. This assures that there is minimum loss in the exchange. The .eps and .tif formats provide the best quality for print output. To make file exchange as easy as possible please let me know your system set up and we can decide the best file types for exchange.

I have a variety of experience with both Windows and Macintosh software. File exchange between the two platforms can be for the most part seamless. If you have any questions, about your software or working together please contact me.
